Historical Evidence of Jesus’ Miracles [Spitzer Scholarly Article]

Three historical events convinced the early Church that Jesus was not only the Messiah, but also who He said He was—the exclusive Son of the Father. One of these was the working of miracles.

Throughout the last century of New Testament scholarship, several objections have been raised against the historicity of Jesus’ miracles. Fr. Spitzer refutes these objections, and provides substantial evidence for the reality of Jesus’ miracles, thus validating the claim that Jesus was the Son of God.
