It seems obvious that he must have been contemplating some of the mysteries we have considered during this past week – the Father’s love for us; our friendship with Jesus and the realization that the Holy Spirit dwells within us. Judge for yourselves. Here’s the first verse:
My life flows on in endless song;
Above earth’s lamentation,

I hear that music ringing
It finds an echo in my soul
How can I keep from singing?
Today I shall reflect some more on this week’s meditations and on the relationship of the shepherd to his sheep, the branch to the vine and the cross to the Resurrection. And I’ll keep on singing, praying others do too. Praise the Lord. Amen. Alleluia.
