Although the new year does not start for another 6 months, the end of the academic year and the beginning of summer holds a special time for most Americans. As weddings, graduations, and school endings slowing come to close, summer may be time for a bit more quiet reflection. We have all gone through a difficult two years and world seems to be dishing out more complexities as spring turns into summer. Whatever the season, now is as good a time as any to reflect on our priorities and take account of how these priorities direct our lives. Putting the phone down, walking through life with our eyes forward, and seeing and talking to people in person may be a place to start.
