In this clip from EWTN's Father Spitzer's Universe, Father takes on Pascal’s Wager.
Pascal’s wager is a pragmatic argument for why you should bet on God. The wager states that if you believe in God and he does not exist, you die the same way you would if you had lived your life without faith. However, if God is real, then you gain an eternity of happiness beyond this life.
Pascal believed that if his friends would use the wager as a reason to believe in God, that their faith would eventually become real because God would come through for them.
